I hate being in this position. I’m forcing myself to let go of the one person I need in my life. You’re the only thing that makes sense, but at the same time, the one thing that complicates me. I know that I’m better off without you, but I feel empty whenever I try to let go.

I learn to let go and then you catch me again. It’s like we’re playing tag and I can never run far enough away. It’s true, when they say memories haunt you, they’re not lying. The memories keep bringing me back, it keeps allowing me to take chances at something that’s impossible, it keeps making me forgive people and things that I said I would never take another shot at.

It hurts to see someone you like change right in front of you.

When you start to notice that he’s drifting away and that he’s not talking to you anymore. Then you start to think of the great moments you had with him; when you laugh at his corniest jokes and when he teases you but you never get irritated. What hurts the most is realizing how much you’ll miss the old him and the good times you spent with him.
